Those simple dresses that used to be on sale at the souvenir shops were so amazing. Nowadays, it is so hard to find a plain "
tourist dress" (
as we call them), with no gilded embroideries and embellishments (
we had this discussion with Gogo, our photo editor, some moments before Maria took the photos). So I feel very lucky that I have this now-rare, long, black, plain "tourist dress" that feels so easy-breezy on a city summer day, paired with my
Salvatore Ferragamo black suede / grey galuchat / perspex sandals, that you and I both love.
